• To access Sonar's Preset List, USE Alt Shift P.
• To access the open default, use Alt Shift O.
• To access the close semi, use Alt Shift L.
• To access the down use Alt Shift N.
• To access the search, use Alt Shift R.
• To access the First, use Alt Shift F.
• To page down the category list, use Control Plus Alt Plus D.
• To page up the category list, use Alt Plus Shift Plus A.
• To open the Utilities menu, use Control Plus Alt Plus Shift Plus U.
• And to access the Multi mode and the mixer display, use Control Plus Alt Plus Shift Plus M.

The following keystrokes can only be used in the Omnisphere browser.

• to access the Shuffle Button, use Control Plus Alt Plus F.
• To access library options, use Control Plus Alt Plus L.
• And to access the sort button, use Alt Plus Shift Plus S.

Aditional info

• Alt Plus Shift Plus u, Opens the Utilities menu. From Utilities you can access Midi learn, Video tutorials and the Reference Guide etc.
• Control Plus Alt Plus l, Accesses Library options. Useful if you just want to browse a specific library like the Atmosphere Library.
• Alt Plus Shift Plus f, Activates the Shuffle button. Shuffle randomizes the current list of patches. Nice if you just want to browse.
• Alt + Shift + s, Accesses the Sort menu. You can choose A to Z, or Z to A. Note: Library, Shuffle and Sort can only be accessed when you are in the Omnisphere browser. Example: If you've entered Multi mode for the mixer, the browser key strokes will not work.

Setting Up Omnisphere In Multi Mode

• When you insert the synth, make sure the all audio tracks checkbox is checked in the dialog. So, you'll then have 8 audio and 1 midi track.
• The audio tracks will be called omnisphere A, Omnisphere B etc.
• Set the outs in the Omnisphere mixer to correspond with the audio tracks.
• Insert an extra 7 midi tracks and set up the inputs for those and the audio tracks etc.

Multi Mode Information

In Multi Mode where the mixer is displayed, it is laid out like this as far as Jaws is concerned…

• Ch1: Default, Out A
• Ch2: Default, Out A
• Ch3: Default, Out A
• Ch4: Default, Out A
• Ch5: Default, Out A
• Ch6: Default, Out A
• Ch7: Default, Out A
• And Ch8: Default, Out A

Doing a Jaws left click on the CH buttons will allow you to set the midi channel for each part.

You will also need to set the midi channel in the track view to correspond which what Omnisphere is doing.

Doing a jaws left mouse click on Default takes you to the browser for each part.

Once you’ve selected a patch for each part, Default is replaced by the patch name in the mixer view.

Doing a Jaws left mouse click on Out A, allows you to set which audio track is assigned to the part. So when you load in a new midi track, it’s important to select the all audio tracks option rather than single audio track. Also, you will need to insert 7 new midi tracks and set the outputs to Omnisphere so that you have 8 audio and 8 midi tracks set up for it.

Once you’ve set it up for the first time, just save it as a track template and there’s nothing else to do.
